NC Courage Fight Back For 1-1 Draw With Utah Royals FC

CARY, N.C. – The NC Courage had to come back from an early deficit to draw 1-1 with Utah Royals FC on Sunday afternoon at Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. Elizabeth Eddy scored late in the game after the Courage went down early with a goal by Amy Rodriguez.

South Florida-based sprinter Briana Williams was among the stars that helped Jamaica to again dominate the Carifta Games held last month in the Cayman Islands. Williams, a student at Oakland Park Northeast high school who is coached by former Trinidad and Tobago sprint great Ato Boldon, won the 100 and 200 meters in the girls Under-20. She won the 100 in 11.25 seconds and the 200 in a world leading age group time of 22.89.

Fury FC GM Julian de Guzman Part of Canada’s Technical Staff for Concacaf Men’s Under-17 Championship

OTTAWA - Canada Soccer have announced their squad of future stars to compete at the 2019 Concacaf Men’s Under-17 Championship, which will see Ottawa Fury FC General Manager Julian de Guzman joining the team’s technical staff. The upcoming competition provides Canada’s Men’s EXCEL Program with the chance to lay the foundation for Canada’s cultural and tactical identity on the pathway to the Men’s National Team.
