US Updates the Cayman Islands to "Do Not Travel" Status

WASHINGTON, D.C. -  The Cayman Islands once enjoyed the lofty status of a Level 1 country, meaning it had a very low risk of COVID-19. But on Monday, the U.S. CDC slapped a Level 4 advisory on the islands as the State Department warned Americans against travel there.

Grenada Welcomes the Return of Air Service Between Canada

St. George’s, Grenada W.I. – On Sunday, October 31st, Grenada welcomed the return of air service from Canada for the first time in a year. Air Canada flight 1066, a Boeing 737 Max 8, touched down at 2:55 PM. Captain John Petropoulos and 169 passengers were warmly greeted by Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) CEO Petra Roach, Marketing Executives Renee Goodwin and Shanai St Bernard and the pulsating rhythms steel pan music. The pilot and crew were presented with a beautiful coffee table book, Grenada Heritage “A Pictorial Journey Through Place and Time” and a selection of locally made chocolates. Passengers were gifted tote bags that included a collection of authentic Grenadian goods.

‘The Bahamas is Back, and Open for Business’ – Says Deputy Prime Minister of The Bahamas

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida –  “The Bahamas is back, and open for business,” says the Honorable I. Chester Cooper, Deputy Prime Minister, Member of Parliament for Exuma and Ragged Islands and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation (MOTIA) for The Islands of The Bahamas.  This was the message he delivered to scores of boating industry professionals, the media and boating enthusiasts at the 2021 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), on October 28, 2021 at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale.
