MAHO, St. Maarten – The Maho Group, the leading Caribbean leisure, real estate, gaming and resort company, has launched a new computer donation program to support continued education for staff families. The initiative has seen a donation of 80 personal computers in total provided to current employees of the St. Maarten-based hospitality group since the beginning of May.

This year’s Summer Arts Conservatory presents something old and something new in opportunities for multi-arts learning. AHCAC continues to teach and nurture the next generation of accomplished artists in writing, acting, dancing, music, singing, stage management, and visual arts. Children ages 5-16 can choose from any of these traditional art forms.

Breast cancer currently ranks second in cancer fatalities for women, second only to lung cancer. The City of Homestead and FIU believe that the more information and resources they can provide to those who are at risk for breast cancer, the more lives can be saved. 

Plantation, Florida - This Mother's Day, May 14th, 2023 at 2:30pm, Island SPACE Caribbean Museum is bringing the story of American icon Shirley Chisholm to South Florida in their presentation of “Shirley Chisholm: Unbossed and Unbowed.” This one-woman play on the life and times of the outspoken African-American activist of Barbadian and Guyanese parentage is written and performed by actor Ingrid Griffith and will take place at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center.
