The Children’s Trust 15th Family Expo Returns This Summer, Featuring New Indoor Venues and Ride-Sharing Service for Attendees

Miami, FL., July 6, 2023 – The Children’s Trust proudly announces the return of Family Expo with a cool and refreshing twist as the community’s largest, free family resource event. For three consecutive Saturdays including July 22, July 29 and August 5, 2023, the Family Expos will take place at indoor venues across central, southwest and northern Miami-Dade County. Not only will these venues provide shelter from the summer heat, but this year, The Trust has also partnered with Uber to make it even easier for families to attend.

The Children's Trust Commits $23M to Empower Families and Nurture Child Development

Miami, FL – The Children's Trust announced during its Board of Directors meeting on June 12,2023, the release of its latest grant awards benefiting 45 service providers across Miami-Dade County. This substantial annual investment, totaling more than $116 million for the next five years, subject to yearly renewals, aims to create a supportive environment that empowers families and significantly enriches the lives of children across diverse communities. The grant awards support parenting and family strengthening programs now expanded to encompass prenatal to adolescence stages, fatherhood initiatives, and vital mental health services.

Island SPACE To Honor Everyday Exceptional Women at "HERS" Event

St. Maarten's Leading Hospitality Group Launches Computer Giveaway

MAHO, St. Maarten – The Maho Group, the leading Caribbean leisure, real estate, gaming and resort company, has launched a new computer donation program to support continued education for staff families. Miami, FL – The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center is currently registering students for its 2023 Summer Arts Conservatory. This year’s Summer Arts Conservatory presents something old and something new in opportunities for multi-arts learning. AHCAC continues to teach and nurture the next generation of accomplished artists in writing, acting, dancing, music, singing, stage management, and visual arts. Children ages 5-16 can choose from any of these traditional art forms.

M-DCPS Students Gain Valuable Work Experience and Skills in Their Areas of Interest in The Summer Youth Internship Program

In 2017, when Carlos Vazquez was starting up EdTech, this brand-new workforce technology training company, he needed young hard-working talent, willing to conduct research and create virtual toolkits. This hard-working talent also needed to be computer savvy and have great social media skills. Unfortunately, because this was a startup, it needed to be cost effective.
