Bahamas PM Proposes Blueprint For Africa-Caribbean Collaboration

NASSAU, Bahamas — Prime Minister of the Bahamas Phillips Davis has outlined a blueprint for collaboration between Africa and the Caribbean saying it “encompasses key initiatives designed to unite our banking systems, enhance financial inclusivity, and catalyse economic growth across Africa and the Caribbean”.

Caribbean, Africa Urged to Trade in Their Own Currencies

NASSAU, Bahamas – Barbados Minister of Economic Affairs and Investment, Chad Blackman, says the Caribbean and Africa should start looking at trading among themselves in their respective currencies, adding that the United States and European currencies might be less dominant a decade from now.

DIGICEL Launches New Subsea Fibre Cable System

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Digicel Group Tuesday announced the activation of its subsea fibre cable, Deep Blue One, describing it as a ““significant investment” in international submarine capacity that will supercharge connectivity across the Caribbean and South America.
