What can be more stressful than emotional crosses? This can be almost anything, a bad childhood, an abusive relationship, a horrible time at school, or even a series of bad romantic experiences. All of these events can adversely affect someone, and what they do as a result can impact negatively on their lives and on the lives of others.

Many students have expressed feeling worried, overwhelmed and even fearful. Mentorship can greatly impact a student’s mental health and well-being by helping them overcome these feelings; and by improving their self-esteem, school performance and social skills.
The endless procession of persons falling ill to this pandemic is mind numbing, and almost everyone knows someone personally, or has a relative who has succumbed to this plague of biblical proportions. “It’s as if this damn virus has come to wipe out mankind,” is what I hear people saying.
