The Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) Technical College Career Expo which took place on Wednesday, February 12th was a major hit, drawing over 800 attendees to The Miami-Dade Fair and Exposition for an evening filled with energy and opportunity! From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, students, parents, and community members gathered to delve into hands-on demonstrations of M-DCPS's top-tier technical programs in healthcare, technology, construction, and skilled trades.
The Expo gave attendees the unique chance to speak directly with instructors, and representatives from our industry partners, learning about the in-demand skills and certifications needed to land high-paying jobs in just one to two years. It was the perfect opportunity to discover how affordable, flexible technical education can lead to a bright and lucrative future.
From cutting-edge/heavy duty diesel trucks to delicate cake decorating, exhibitors were on hand to showcase the endless career possibilities awaiting those ready to jump into these fast-growing fields.
