In an extraordinary shift however, organisers of one celebratory event dubbed, ‘To Mom With Love,’ say they are paying close attention to the state of affairs in T&T at this time, hosting their event from 11:30am and ending at 3pm, to ensure the safety of all patrons.

On June 1st, much will be the same, as Sizzla Kalonji headlines the concert with messages of peace, unity and positive vibrations over all else. Redemption takes place at the Queen’s Park Savannah, just in time for the long holiday weekend.

New York, New York - Three time Actor Boy Award winner Karl O’Brian Williams, Miranda Melhado of Amazon Prime’s horror feature Amityville Vampire and Emilio Evans of the popular Allblk network drama Makeup and Breakup (Makeup X Breakup) are the latest actors announced for the American Premiere presentation of Alwin Bully’s Caribbean drama McBee.

Luke Forbes of Amazon Prime’s Harlem and Denise Hunt of How Stella Got Her Groove Back Head the Cast of Mcbee us Premiere

New York, New York - Luke Forbes, star of Amazon Prime’s popular comedy series Harlem, and Denise Hunt, best known for her scene stealing role in the hit film How Stella Got Her Groove Back, will head the cast of the American Premiere Presentation of Alwin Bully’s Caribbean drama McBee on Sunday June 23 at The Jamaica Performing Arts Center (JPAC) in Jamaica Queens. The performance will begin at 7pm and will be preceded by a Caribbean Cuisine reception from 5:30pm.

Shinehead Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Culturally Significant Debut Record 'Billie Jean'

Happy times are spilling over for Shinehead, who is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of his debut record "Billie Jean." The classic recording on the African Love label signifies Shinehead's unprecedented foray into the world of recorded music from sound systems. Notably, the Michael Jackson cover, along with other vibrant songs from Shinehead on the classic riddim, helped catapult Shinehead to international stardom. There’s a lot of rich history behind “Billie Jean” and the riddim, which Shinehead is anxious to share during the year long celebration.
