We at Miami Music Project Stand in Solidarity With the Black Community Against Systemic Racism and Injustice.

Our hearts go out to the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and the entire Black community that deals with these injustices daily in their own lives.

musicmiaWe know our work cannot stop at providing music instruments and instruction to the Black boys and girls in our programs. We recognize we must call out all forms of racism and support the children and families of the communities we serve.

Miami Music Project will not be silent. We will speak up as we join you in demanding justice and equality for Black people. We are on this journey with you not as a passenger, but as an active participant.

We unequivocally believe that BLACK LIVES MATTER, and we are committed to doing our part to stand with the Black community in the pursuit of racial equality.

Our organization will work to be part of a proactive response. We will meet with community members and leaders to strategize and act with sustainable tactics that can make a difference. We will be sharing these resources and information with all of our constituents.

Today, we are even more committed to our mission of using music as an instrument for social change and empowering our children in becoming true instruments of that change.

To join many others in the Music Industry Blackout and show our support for racial justice and equality, we are postponing our Fantastic Live-Streamed Finale originally scheduled for today at 6pm.

The Fantastic Season Finale will now be aired on Thursday, June 4th at 6:00pm. We hope to see you there!
