Dominica's Government Warns Against Bogus Websites Handling Travel and Immigration Tasks

ROSEAU, Dominica – The Dominica government is urging travelers to the country to remain vigilant and refrain from using unauthorized websites or services that claim to handle immigration or travel tasks on behalf of the government.

embarkThe government in a statement said that the website https://edcard.dominica.gov.dm, is the “sole authorized platform for submitting the Online Immigration and Customs Declaration Card.

“This government-operated and secure site provides a complimentary service, ensuring that travelers’ information is processed accurately in accordance with Dominica’s Immigration and Customs Regulations. There are no fees associated with the completion of the online ED forms.”

The statement said that while the government is dedicated to “delivering safe and efficient services to all travelers”  it is warning that “third-party sites may lead to misinformation, potential fraud, and delays in the processing of travel documents”.

“The Government of Dominica appreciates the public’s cooperation in maintaining the integrity of its immigration procedures,” the statement added.
