Mount Pleasant Football Academy Appoints Charlie Methven as New Managing Director

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Mount Pleasant Football Academy (MPFA), the Caribbean’s premier football institution, has announced the appointment of Charlie Methven as its new Managing Director.

He previously served as CEO of Charlton Athletic and Executive Director of Sunderland AFC, while also advising top-tier organizations such as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, McLaren F1, the Bahrain Grand Prix, and the Qatari government during the 2022 FIFA World Cup preparations.

Peter Gould, owner of MPFA, expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment. “Over the past six years, we have been committed to elevating our football operations to the highest professional standards.
