ST GEORGE’S, Grenada – Grenada’ senior men’s football team will create history when they travel to Russia to play an international friendly next Wednesday.

According to the Grenada Football Association (GFA), the international friendly is part of its broader strategy to enhance the team’s competitive edge and provide players with opportunities to showcase their talents beyond the region, thereby increasing their visibility to clubs worldwide.
According to GFA president, Marlon Glean, the match is expected to attract substantial attention, not only for its historic significance but also for the chance it provides Grenadian players to measure their skills against a top-tier opponent.
“We are excited about this opportunity to play against Russia. This match will allow our players to gain invaluable experience and demonstrates the GFA’s commitment to national teams’ development.
