At 94 Years of Age, Edina Mcgrath of Holllywood, Forida is Crowned Ms Senior Florida
At 94, Edina McGrath is crowned Ms Senior Florida, the oldest to hold the Title in the history of the Pageant. Vibrant and full of life, at a time when COVID 19 is proving fatal among the aging community, Edina felt compelled to be an inspiration to her peers.
Edina retired from Carnival Cruise Lines at 85. She enjoys her wonderful children, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. She also enjoys her annual travels to Israel and is her busiest producing and directing SNAPPY SENIOR FUN FOLLIES SHOW with a cast of 20-30, ages 55-94 presented yearly at the YMCA.
Edina dazzled the Judges as she flawlessly tap danced for her talent. She gracefully modeled her evening gown and filled the hearts of the judges with wisdom as she expressed her Philosophy of life, another category of the competition.
The MS SENIOR FLORIDA PAGEANT INC., is a nonprofit organization that creates a platform to honor senior women for their inward and outward beauty and contributions to family and community. A contestant must-be at least 60 years old and is required to express her lifestyle through evening gown presentation, talent, philosophy of life and interview with the judges.
The crown carries the responsibility to represent the face and lifestyle of every senior women in the state of Florida. We are confident Edina will represent, inspire and encourage the senior community like no other.
