The CB Group through its “Recover Together” initiative has donated 950 cooked meals for essential frontline workers within the Southern Regional Health Authority (SRHA), which administrates public healthcare in Clarendon, Manchester and St. Elizabeth. The first batch of lunches was distributed on Tuesday, June 16 to the healthcare workers in Manchester, followed by distribution in Clarendon on June 17 and in St. Elizabeth on June 19.

The company explained that it is also boosting the revival of the local restaurant industry following the impact of COVID-19, by employing restaurants in close proximity to the health facilities to prepare the meals.
Mr. Bent expressed appreciation to the CB Group for their generous donation, noting that it will motivate staff members who are working tirelessly during this pandemic.
The SRHA, which administrates public healthcare in Clarendon, Manchester and St. Elizabeth received 950 cooked meals from the CB Group through its “Recover Together” initiative. The project, which is twofold, is dedicated to sharing the company’s appreciation to Jamaica’s frontline workers who have been working through the pandemic and to also boost the revival of the local restaurant industry, following the impact of COVID-19.
