Belize's Prime Minister Briceño Wins General Election

BELMOPAN, Belize – Prime Minister John Briceño led his ruling People’s United Party (PUP) to a resounding victory in Wednesday’s general election that also saw the demise of  Opposition Leader, Moses “Shyne” Barrow, whose main opposition United Democratic Party (UDP) had contested the polls as a divided group.

Emmalin Pierre Sworn in As Grenada's Opposition Leader in Parliament

ST.  GEORGE’S, Grenada – The leader of the main opposition New National Party (NNP), Emmalin Pierre, was sworn in Tuesday as the new Opposition Leader in Parliament less than two weeks after the incumbent and former prime minister Dr. Keith Mitchell had informed Grenadians that he was stepping from the post.
