MIAMI, FL – Today, U.S. Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (FL-26) released a funding report outlining the major funding wins for Florida’s 26th congressional district in the FY2021 House appropriations legislation. The report was release today during a webinar with constituents and local nonprofits.
“Amid COVID-19, as I continued to advocate for emergency assistance for my constituents, I was also working behind-the-scenes to ensure South Florida’s priorities were included in this year’s funding package. While this list is not exhaustive of all issues important to FL-26, it does reflect many of the issues I frequently hear about from constituents,” said Mucarsel-Powell. “I am very excited about these successes, but the work is not done. The Senate needs to pass these funding provisions, and I am continuously putting on the pressure so that South Florida can benefit from these important programs.”
