I am Dr. Jeff Holness candidate for Broward County Schools at large, seat 9. I have two sons, Matthew and Jordan and they both attend public schools. I am running to create a brighter future for our children in Broward County Schools. Our children are living in unprecedented times and now more than ever, it is important to elect someone with the right knowledge, experience, and attitude.
I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master of Science in Education and Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership. I have been an educator in Broward County for over 22 years and have taught Pre-K through 12th grade, adult community school as well as university. I also own and operate a Kumon learning center and successfully transitioned my learning center to an enhanced Kumon online teaching platform in response to COVID-19. In addition, I founded Student Learning Communities and served as assistant principal designee, School Advisory Council chair & English Language Learners coordinator.
