Kingston Explosion Injures Employees at Fast-Food Restaurant

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Sep. 11, CMC – An investigation has been launched after at least six workers were injured in an explosion at a fast food store in the business district of New Kingston on Wednesday.

The police report that the explosion occurred shortly after 11 am (local time) at the Burger King fast food restaurant .

Four of the workers, three women and one man, are said to be in serious condition. 

Preliminary reports suggest the explosion may have been caused by a gas leak.
