Virtual Homeowner & Homebuyer Expo 2021 in Miami-Dade - Housing the Future Together
MIAMI, Florida — Miami-Dade County Public Housing and Community Development together with Neighborhood Housing Services of South Florida invite you to join Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and Commissioner Jean Monestime on Saturday, October 30, for the Virtual Homeownership and Homebuyer Expo 2021 – Housing the Future Together. This event is free and open to the public.

South Florida has one of the most robust and competitive housing markets in the country," says Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. "This Expo brings a wide range of public and private resources to help first-time homebuyers achieve the dream of homeownership, and to help existing homeowners make their homes more resilient against extreme weather events and more energy efficient. In one day, residents can access all the information and resources they need to navigate this housing market and to protect and improve the homes they own."
The expo is an opportunity for homebuyers and homeowners to learn from and speak with real estate and lending professionals, attend workshops on homebuyer education and homeowner’s insurance, and participate in panel discussions from industry professionals offering participants a wide variety of topics that are customized to help you buy a new home, remain in or take care of an existing home, affordable loan products, and down payment assistance opportunities.
The Homeowner & Homebuyer Expo 2021 will also have a Vendors’ Exhibit Hall, where residents will have the opportunity to virtually “visit” more than 25 exhibitors and gather information about their products and services. At the booths, participants will find many valuable resources that will equip them to make informed consumer decisions, from preparing for the home buying process; learning about what kind of homeowner’s insurance is needed; to what refinancing options are available.
Participants will also have the chance to attend workshops on homebuyer education and credit building, as well as various panel discussions from industry professionals offering attendees a wide variety of topics that are customized to help them buy a new home, remain in or take care of an existing home, affordable loan products, and down payment assistance opportunities.
