Miami-Dade County – On Saturday May 30th, 2020, Vice Chairwoman Rebeca Sosa will host a free drive-thru distribution of surgical masks and hand sanitizer to the residents of her district. The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. and take place on NW 65th Avenue between Blue Lagoon Drive and NW 7th Street (Entrance via Blue Lagoon Drive only). Supplies will be distributed on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
“As we begin the phased reopening of our community, residents need to take special care to wear face coverings and wash their hands frequently”, said Vice Chairwoman Sosa. “Doing so will help us to continue slowing the spread of COVID-19 in a safe way as we get our economy moving and people back to work.”
