Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez Signs Executive Order Allowing Restricted use of Parks, Waterways and Golf Courses

MIAMI  —Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez signed Executive Order 21-20 on Monday April 27, 2020 establishing guidelines for reopening parks, waterways and golf courses throughout the County. This order will go into effect at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

All regulations in Executive Order 21-20 were developed in consultation with health experts at the Florida Department of Health, Jackson Health System, U-Health and the medical schools at Florida International University and the University of Miami along with local coastal communities, the Miami-Dade County League of Cities and officials in Broward, Monroe and Palm Beach counties to ensure a coordinated effort throughout the region.
