Get Paid to Upgrade Your Irrigation System

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Beginning May 13th, qualifying Broward County residents who want to make improvements to their home irrigation system can receive rebates ranging from $200 to $600. Broward County is introducing a new Irrigation Improvement Rebate Program promoting high-tech EPA WaterSense®labeled devices such as weather-based timers and pressure regulating sprinklers for residential use. Participants can choose from four different rebate options.

To be eligible for the rebate program, homeowners must have a working sprinkler system, must irrigate using metered city water, and must reside in a participating municipal partner area. All program participants will receive an irrigation system evaluation, a water conservation tool kit and important information about additional Broward County sustainability programs.

“Broward County’s new irrigation improvement rebate program is in response to growing interest among homeowners for water saving technology,” says Carolina Maran, Broward’s Water Resources Manager. “Smart irrigation technology has been implemented within many city parks and other public sites. This new residential rebate program is an opportunity to provide financial incentives for homeowners to access similar ‘state-of-the-art’ water saving technology.”
