City of Opa-locka’s Commissioner Chris Davis and Crabman 305 will host a Youth Awareness March and Rally. The event will take place Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 10 Am to 4 pm at Sherbondy park, 380 Bahman Avenue, Opa-locka 33054.

Opa locka The Youth Awareness March and Rally will feature a peace walk, rally, music, live performances, bounce house, and fun activities for the entire community.

“We want to invite our entire community to the Youth Awareness March and Rally for a day full of food, fun, and interaction among community members and their public safety personnel, including police officers and firefighters,” said Commissioner Davis. “In an effort to end gun violence, our goal is to raise awareness for the community that we shouldn’t tolerate violence occurring throughout our neighborhoods. Also, we want to encourage our community to fellowship and work with law enforcement if they see or hear something. With greater interaction between the community and public safety personnel, we could ultimately help curb widespread crime.”

This event is a partnership with the support of Crabman 305, Amiyah Boutique, C&C Auto Service, Foxx Hole Car Wash, and Clownin Cutz Barbershop.
