Broward County Public Schools Community,

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended the summer meals flexibility waiver, now allowing Broward County Public Schools to provide breakfast and lunch at no cost to all children 18 years and younger – regardless of meal eligibility status and even if they don’t attend a BCPS school.

Grab-and-Go meals are available at all BCPS elementary, middle, and high schools, every Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m. while the District continues instruction through eLearning.

Children or their parents can pick up bundles that include multiple meals by walking or driving to the school’s car or bus loop. If the child is not present, parents are required to provide identification for their child, which includes student ID, report card, or birth certificate. The ID must be presented at each meal distribution.

Meals are only provided in bundles and are not available for individual meal purchase. Adults are welcome to purchase meal bundles for $1.80 per breakfast and $2.75 per lunch.
