Ras Kronik Promotes Song "Agree to Disagree" Amid Divisive State of Global Consciousness

While the divisive national election in the United States and anti-immigrant protests throughout Europe dominated headlines, Ras Kronik still saw light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. His optimism can be heard on Agree to Disagree, the song he is currently promoting.

krsingThe track is from The Energy, the singer’s third album which was released in 2023 by Pandemic Records. With social and political strife the order of the day, Ras Kronik felt it was appropriate to revive Agree to Disagree.

“The message that it carries across our great nation is if we join together in that oneness, the illusion would be solved. It (Agree to Disagree) is relevant especially when it comes to consciousness. There's nothing outside of love, because love is the ultimate. We should all start loving each other, which is the goal,” said Ras Kronik, who lives in Las Vegas.

That message was needed during protests in the United Kingdom last summer. Marchers came out vociferously against the unceasing flow of undocumented foreigners entering that country.

Similar protests took place in Northern Ireland and Scandinavia. In the US, the election between vice president Kamala Harris and Donald Trump (the winner) was one of the country’s nastiest.

Agree to Disagree is one of 12 songs on The Energy, which was released in August, 2023. Jah Jah Light and Working For The Boss are also examples of Ras Kronik’s social awareness.

From rural Clarendon parish in central Jamaica, Ras Kronik is one of Las Vegas’ most popular reggae acts. The Real Thing and Wild N Free are his previous albums.
