Miramar Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month With The Miramar Latin Music Festival

MIRAMAR, FL - The City of Miramar invites music enthusiasts to the highly-anticipated Miramar Latin Music Festival, hosted by Commissioner Yvette Colbourne, on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater located at 16801 Miramar Parkway.

yvettemFrom 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., a dynamic line-up of Latin artists including merengue musician from the Dominican Republic, Wilfrido Vargas, Dominican Rapper Sensato, pop and salsa artist Brenda K. Starr, and Panamanian musicians Gaitanes will command the stage, transforming the night with exhilarating sounds of Latin America.

As one of the City's signature events, the festival illustrates the rich tapestry of our community, deeply influenced by Hispanic and Latin American cultures. Commissioner Yvette Colbourne commented, “The vibrancy of Latin American culture is one to be celebrated. This event is a tribute to the rich contributions the Hispanic community has made to our diverse city. In coming together, we celebrate our diversity, our music, our food, and our language. We warmly invite all to join this spectacular celebration in our city."

The Miramar Latin Music Festival continues to attract a broad audience, not just from nearby cities like Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach, but also from the Caribbean and Latin America.
