Minister God Bizz Releases First Gospel Album

Because his gospel roots are steeped in rural Jamaica, Minister God Bizz went for a ‘down home’ sound on Street to Church, his first album which was released in October.

“I’m feeling truly blessed and excited. It’s been a long journey with a lot of hard work and dedication, but I’m so glad that the world can finally hear it. There’s an incredible sense of accomplishment in seeing the vision come to life, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share this music with everyone. It's a very fulfilling moment for me, and I’m excited for what’s to come,” said Minister God Bizz.

The singer has lived in the United States for 30 years but never forgets his roots in Kentish, a farming district in St. Catherine parish. That is where he developed a love for traditional and contemporary gospel music, which are the sounds he wanted to project on Street To Church.

“We worked together to achieve a sound that blends traditional gospel with a more contemporary edge. I wanted to make sure the music resonated with a wide audience, especially the younger generation, while staying true to the essence of gospel music. It was important to create something that could connect with listeners on a spiritual level while also being fresh and relevant,” Minister God Bizz explained.

He and his team released four songs prior to Street To Church which Minister God Bizz credits with introducing him to gospel fans.
