Dancehall Star Konshens to Headline 106 & Park’s Caribbean Celebration During BET Awards Weekend

Los Angeles, CA – International dancehall star Konshens is set to electrify the stage at the BET Experience Fan Fest on Saturday, June 7, as part of the highly anticipated 106 & Park @ BETX activation. This event marks a vibrant celebration of Caribbean culture during the 25th anniversary of the iconic music countdown show, 106 & Park. 

On the heels of the release of his fiery new single “Back Day Azz Up (BDAUP), a bold, cross-genre anthem that bridges the raw intensity of hip hop with the authentic fire of dancehall, Konshens is riding a new wave of creative fusion. Inspired by Juvenile’s legendary beat and co-signed by none other than hip-hop mogul Birdman, this remix reimagines a classic sound with a Caribbean edge, placing Konshens at the forefront of genre-defying innovation.

Konshens will headline “106 & Party: Rep Ya Flag,” a dynamic showcase honoring the rich musical and cultural heritage of the Caribbean. Joining him are fellow Caribbean artists Amanda Reifer and Spice, promising an unforgettable experience filled with live performances, DJ mashups, and carnival-style dance-offs. The event will be hosted by DJ Young Chow, who will infuse the atmosphere with island-inspired energy.  

This performance is part of the broader BET Experience 2025, presented by SheaMoisture, which leads up to the BET Awards on Monday, June 9. The BET Experience Fan Fest offers fans immersive activations, live concerts, and cultural panels, celebrating Black entertainment and creativity.
