COVID Anxiety and Back-To-School Worries

As schools transition back to in‑person learning, you and your kids may be facing some anxiety regarding the COVID‑19 pandemic. Tune in and learn how to teach your child to navigate these unprecedented times — both at school and at home — at our upcoming Parental Guidance (PG) seminar, a virtual initiative hosted by UHealth Jackson Children’s Care and Miami Mom Collective. Our panel will offer valuable tips to help you and your family adapt to this “new normal.”

parentsExperts from The Children’s Trust will also discuss how to raise resilient children by offering advice on how to help your kids manage their feelings, develop coping skills, and learn how to face any stressful obstacle that life may throw their way.

This seminar series brings together educational information and family‑friendly resources through health experts to help expert parents produce epic kids.

Join us on Thursday, October 15 at 8 p.m. as we discuss anxiety surrounding the pandemic, distance and in-person learning, and more. Our expert panel includes Patricia Ares‑Romero, M.D., FASAM, Chief Medical Officer at Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital; Yanier Rodriguez‑Perez, M.S., Parent Facilitator from The Children’s Trust Parent Club; and Lucia Greco, Parent Facilitator and Registered Clinical Social Work Intern from the Center for Children and Families.
