Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce Appoints 2019-2020 Officers of the Board

April 24, 2019 – The Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2019 – 2020 Officers of the Board. The newly appointed officers consist of the following; Teresa Foxx as Chairwoman of the Board, Jeff Lozama as Vice-Chairman of the Board, Wayne Davis as Treasurer of the Board, Robert Holland as Parliamentarian of the Board and Shelia Powell Cohen as Secretary of the Board.

As Chairwoman of the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce, she will also oversee the Board’s Executive Committee.

Jeff Lozama, Owner & CEO of CMS-International (Board Vice Chairman) In 2008, Jeff Lozama took ownership CMS-International Group, a premier exporter in high quality building materials for any type of offshore construction project. He will also continue serving as Chairman of the Miami-Dade Chamber’s International Trade Committee.

Wayne Davis, President of InTouch Logistics (Board Treasurer) Wayne Davis is the President of InTouch Logistics, a transportation company that provides high quality CDL Driversfor a wide range of client needs. He is the Miami-Dade Chamber’simmediate past Chairman, having served in that capacity for three years.

Robert Holland, Principal Attorney of the Law Offices of Robert Holland (Board Parliamentarian) Robert Holland is the Principal Attorney of the Law Offices of Robert Holland. He served as a board member for one year before being voted as Parliamentarian.

Shelia Powell Cohen, Director of Major Gifts and Faith-Based Organizations (Board Secretary) Shelia Powell Cohen is the Director of Major Gifts and Faith Based Organizations for Florida Memorial University, South Florida’s only Historically Black University. She served as a board member for one year before being voted as Secretary.

The Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1974 by a group of Black business leaders out of a need for a strong organization that could objectively advocate the needs of a growing Black business community. To date, the Chamber has been led by four presidents, David Fincher 1974-1984, Dorothy Baker 1984-2004, Bill Diggs 2005-2013 and current President G. Eric Knowles 2014.
