Caribbean Airlines has entered multiple agreements which will enable the carrier to provide cargo service for several countries in the region and destinations in North America.
Caribbean Airlines is spreading its wings.According to information obtained from the airline, Caribbean Airlines Cargo (CAC) recently “signed a new interline agreement with Air Canada, which enables it to ship into and out of all major cities in Canada” to Caribbean destinations such as Trinidad and Barbados, in addition to Miami, Fort Lauderdale in the United States, plus Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal in Canada.
Another interline agreement with Alaska Airlines will enable CAC to ship to another 16 destinations, including U.S. states Alaska, Hawaii, Utah, Oregon and Nevada.
Meanwhile, CAC said it has “formed an alliance with ground transportation handlers Forward Air, to facilitate the trucking of large volume cargo from New York and Fort Lauderdale to the cargo hub in Miami, for shipments into the Caribbean.”
