Local Author and Graduate of Miami Writers Institute Leads FREE Creative Writing Social

Join us on Thursday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m. for this month’s First Draft led by local author and Miami Writers Institute veteran Roxanna Elden. 

Ms EldenRoxanna has been featured on NPR as well as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, and more. She is the author of Adequate Yearly Progress: A Novel, See Me After Class: Advice for Teachers by Teachers, and a children’s book, Rudy’s New Human. 

A student in one of the first courses of the Miami Writers Institute, Roxanna has taken over a decade’s worth of Institute classes and other Miami Book Fair creative writing workshops over the course of her career. If you’re looking for a writing refresher from an experienced author, this is the social for you.
