A book festival, featuring authors from Haiti and the Haitian diaspora, literary panels, craft talks, writer’s workshops, activities for children, a film screening, dance workshop, and poetry, dance and music performances, will be held this month in Miami, Florida.
The “Little Haiti Book Festival”, presented by Miami Book Fair in partnership with Sosyete Koukouy of Miami, Inc., will be held 11 a.m. May 5 at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex, 212 N.E. 59 Terrace and at Libreri Mapou, 5919 N.E. Second Ave.
The festival, which is free and open to the public, is part of Miami Book Fair’s ReadCaribbean programming.Simultaneous interpretation in English will be offered when appropriate
