TEXAS – The Texas state appeals court has upheld a murder conviction against an ex-Dallas police officer who was accused of fatally shooting the St. Lucian-born, Botham Jean, in his apartment in 2018.

TOKYO, Japan – Steven Gardiner became the first Bahamian to capture gold in an Olympic men’s 400 meters while Grenadian Kirani James claimed bronze to snatch his piece of history, as Jamaican Hansle Parchment also won the men’s sprint hurdles on a dominant day of competition for the Caribbean here Thursday.



Bahamas Now Requiring COVID-19 Testing for All Travelers Entering the Country

NASSAU, Bahamas, CMC – The Bahamas government has reversed an earlier decision that allowed vaccinated travelers not to test for the coronavirus (COVID-19) before entering the country, saying that they will now be required to obtain a Rapid Antigen Test or PCR, with a negative result, within five days of arrival.
