PAHO to Facilitate Access to Maternal Vaccines to Protect Babies in the Region From Respiratory Syncytial Virus

WASHINGTON, DC – The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) says starting in the first quarter of 2025, through its Regional Revolving Funds, that it will provide countries of the Americas, including the Caribbean, with affordable access to the vaccine against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), a leading cause of pediatric hospitalization and death from respiratory infections during the first six months of life. 

Caribbean Countries to Benefit From New PAHO-CEPI Agreement

NEW YORK, New York – The Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO) Monday signed a technical cooperation agreement with the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) aimed at improving regulatory harmonization and convergence in the Region of the Americas, including the Caribbean.
