Antigua and Barbuda Wants to Invest in Geothermal Project in Nevis

JOHN’S, Antigua - The government of Antigua and Barbuda has signaled its intention to acquire an equity stake in the geothermal energy project now under development in Nevis, as part of wider Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) efforts to strengthen regional energy cooperation and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

CCJ President Urges Regional Countries to Push For New Climate Change Fund

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – President of the Trinidad-based Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ), Justice Winston Anderson, Friday urged regional governments and organizations to push for the establishment of a new international climate compensation fund (ICIC) to help deal with the impact of climate change , especially  among small island developing states (SIDS).
