Yung Kyamani placed second in the 2024 Junior Soca Monarch competition. By Wormbass' standards, 2024 was a slow year in terms of songs released. While the Jamaican singer/musician had only two singles on the market, he said his creative juices continued to flow. "Sunshine", which he co-produced with Michael Jacas, and Illusion, which he did for Polish producer Krystian “K-Jah” Walczak, were released in mid and late 2024, respectively. 

Eight years ago, roots singer Binghi Blaze started recording sessions with producer Dennis “Jah D” Fearon in Kingston, Jamaica. Their collaboration resulted in a number of hard-hitting songs with social themes, but he did not leave out the ladies.
