Mia Mottley Sworn in as Prime Minister

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Mia Mottley was sworn in as Prime Minister on Thursday afternoon, announcing that until she swears in her Cabinet next week, she will take responsibility for the health portfolio amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.




Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2022 is on, But No Fetes or Parties

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – There will be a Trinidad and Tobago Carnival this year for persons who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 but there will be no fetes or parties, only concert-type shows, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts has announced.
