Lady Saw was perhaps Jamaica’s best known female dancehall artiste. Her raw, suggestive lyrics atop the heavily syncopated beats of the newest ‘riddim’ led her to the top of the charts. Her onstage performances were unapologetically sexual, to put it mildly. But, Lady Saw no longer exists. Introducing Minister Marion Hall, a passionate Messenger of God. Many are shocked, disappointed that they have ‘lost’ Saw. Some are skeptical.
