Holder had a bigger reason to celebrate later on as his team beat the visitors by 381 runs in the first match of the three Test series to take a 1-0 lead. Scores in the match: West Indies 289 and 415 runs for six wickets declared, England 77 and 246. Among the other outstanding West Indian performers were spin bowler Roston Chase, who took eight wickets in England’s second inning, Shane Dorwich, who scored a second inning century and fast bowler Kemar Roach, who took five wickets in England’s first innings.
