Bridgetown, Barbados – Digicel and the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) joined the St. Michael School at Desmond Haynes Oval in Barbados to launch their regional tour for the Digicel Youth Cricket Series. As the winner of the digital voting campaign in Barbados, the school had a one day session with Barbadian native and Barbados Tridents bowler, Jason Holder and Digicel Youth Cricket Series Head Coach, Vasbert Drakes.

CARY, N.C.  – North Carolina FC continued its stellar home form and picked up a second victory within a week’s time with Friday’s 4-0 win over Atlanta United 2 at Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park.

Florida-based Briana Williams was the star of this year’s CARIFTA Games. The meet, which showcases the best young track and field talent in the Caribbean, was held in The Bahamas. Williams, representing Jamaica, was brilliant. She won gold in the Under-17 100 meters, 200 meters and 4x100 meters relay and was named Austin Sealy Award winner, symbol of the meet’s most outstanding athlete. Jamaica earned 82 medals to top the table.
