In one week sixteen top-ranked female golfers, will converge on Jamaica’s tourist capital, Montego Bay where they will battle for a US$1 million purse in the first-ever ever Mojo 6â„¢ Raceway Golfâ„¢ tournament. Fresh from her recent victory in last weekend’s Kraft Nabisco Championship, Yani Tseng of Taiwan leads an impressive field in the Mojo 6â„¢ tournament, sanctioned by the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). Tseng is expected to be strongly challenged by Suzann Petterson of Norway, who finished just one stroke behind at the Nabisco Championship.

One of Jamaica’s most exciting golf tournaments, the 15th Annual Caribbean Golf Association Classic will be held in Montego Bay from May 12-16, 2010.

The annual event is played on three of Jamaica’s top golf courses, Cinnamon Hill Golf Course at Rose Hall Resort and Spa - A Hilton resort, White Witch Golf Course at the Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall Golf and Spa Resort, and the Half Moon Golf Course at the Half Moon Resort. These fabulous golf courses are all within five minutes of each other and just 15 minutes away from Sangster International Airport. Highlights of the tournament include: three days of golf; opening ceremonies with cocktails and buffet dinner; a theme party; and a closing awards banquet. The deadline to enter into the tournament is April 15, 2010.

Miami FC continues to gear up for the 2010 season, playing their second preseason match against the New York Red Bulls. Kick-off is set for 11:30am at Lockhart Stadium.
