The Strikers continue their unbeaten streak in the third match of a four game road trip. The match ended in a 1-1 draw against the NSC Minnesota Stars. The Strikers look to continue the trend Wednesday, May 11th at 7:30 p.m. when they round out their road trip against the Carolina Railhawks. The Strikers return home to face their cross state rivals FC Tampa Bay on Saturday, May 14th. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

amaica's Synchro Stars a Hit in CaliforniaJamiaca's Synchro Stars Beam With Pride 

Jamaica Tourist Board’s Dian Holland business development manager for Arizona, Colorado, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming (pictured top right), was on hand to welcome the Jamaica Synchro Stars synchronized swimming team to California.

The team journeyed to California to compete against 150 athletes, including the top-ranked team in the United States, Santa Clara’s Aquamids in this year’s Central California Association and Pacific Association Intermediate Championships and Seaside Novice/Age Group Invitational.

Edwin AllenThe Caribbean dominance at the annual Penn Relays is continuing for another straight year, as proven Thursday by Jamaica’s Ristananna Tracey and Puerto Rico’s Marcos Sanchez.

Not even a rain storm could cool the Caribbean heat as Sanchez of Turabo University, Puerto Rico claimed victory in the Penn Relays decathlon by 127 points over second-place Anya Uzoh from Penn State.

(On what it was like to receive the call from the Dolphins and what was said) – “I was just waiting for them and they called me. It was (Head) Coach (Tony) Sparano and Mr. (Jeff) Ireland. They were asking me how my day was going and if I was, how I was doing and how I felt and they finally told me I was going to be their first round pick.”

(On whether he felt this was coming) – “I think I had a pretty good idea. This was the first team I had on my radar, and I think it’s a perfect fit for me and I’m glad I’m a Dolphin.”
