News Americas, TORONTO, Canada, Fri. Sept. 8, 2017: The Canadian government is warning its nationals to avoid “all travel” to at least 12 Caribbean nations impacted by Hurricane Irma.
The much-anticipated VIP event features Jamaican music legends Negril, Jamaica—August 30, 2017— Couples Swept Away and Couples.   Negril will be hosting their anniversary celebration October 6-8, 2017, at the Couples’ Negril resorts with some of the most well-known names in the Jamaican music scene. The weekend-long festivities will feature Reggae Superstar Freddie McGregor, as well as music legend, saxophonist Dean Frazer.
CHTA points to progress, but government and private sector stakeholders must exercise greater prudence in managing communications and resolving challenges.    MIAMI (August 27, 2017) - The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) applauds efforts being made by the region's public and private sectors to grow tourism, but cautions against the inherent risks if the sectors do not work more closely together to resolve differences.
