Today: Hillary For Florida Supporters Open Organizing Office In Miami Dade

Mayor of Miami Beach Philip Levine to Deliver Opening Remarks on Hillary's Lifelong Fight for Florida Families.

Today, Monday, February 22nd, local supporters and volunteers will gather to open a Hillary for Florida organizing office in Miami Beach. Florida's Democratic presidential primary is less than a month away, on March 15th.

"Hillary Clinton is the only candidate who can do all parts of the job of president," said Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine. "Her life's work shows a leader who has stood up for the rights of women and people of color. There isn't a barrier too big for Hillary to tear down - and that's why we're organizing Miami-Dade by talking to our friends and neighbours about what's at stake in this election for our state and nation."

This month, Hillary for Florida has opened grassroots organizing offices in Broward, Palm Beach, Orlando, Jacksonville and Tallahassee. For nearly a year, local volunteers and supporters have held hundreds of organizing events, including phone banks, canvasses, one-on-one meetings, and debate watch parties to get Floridians behind Hillary's historic campaign for president.
