At the urging of neighborhood residents, Alison Austin has accepted the challenge and thrown her hat into the ring for the City of Miami District 5 Commission Seat. “I am accepting this challenge and choosing to organize a campaign to represent District 5 because of the community’s confidence in me, my skills, vision, knowledge and ability,” said Austin.
State Representative Anitere Flores (R, Miami-114) will join the Christian Family Coalition and local coalition partners at a press conference and rally on Monday, May 24th urging Governor Crist to sign HB 1143.
