Washington, D.C. — A new report from the Center for American Progress reveals a stunning lack of diversity on the federal appeals court covering Florida, Georgia and Alabama based on an analysis of official data.
Tallahassee, Fl----Attorney General Ashley Moody’s is not telling the truth about a 2020 proposed constitutional amendment that prevents the possession of assault weapons, according to Florida Democrats and gun safety advocates. Moody, in her effort to keep the initiative off the ballot says, the ballot language is “clearly and conclusively defective.” The Florida Democratic Party, Representative Cindy Polo (D-103), the Florida Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence and March for Our lives told capital reporters that Moody was not telling the truth about the proposal.
“Commissioner Sam Ings is a leader, who is not scared to stand up and do what he knows is right for the people,” says Attorney Ben Crump – Famous for fighting cases of discrimination and injustice. For over 40 years Commissioner Ings has quietly broke racist’s barriers in the Orlando Police Department, and fought the autocratic administration of Mayor Buddy Dyer. Commissioner Ings has filed grievances with the Federal Government against Orlando. His goal is to make the city transparent and inclusive.
