A Michigan resident was bitten by a venomous monocle cobra on Sunday, July 15, and remains in critical condition.  

(Miami, FL) – Community Health of South Florida Inc. (CHI) is celebrating National Health Center Week with several free events Aug. 11-18, 2018. The events highlight the resources provided by community health centers like CHI and help to get children physically and emotionally ready for the start of school.

Staff of the Southern Regional Health Authority (SRHA) are all smiles as they accept donations of medical and hospital supplies and pharmaceuticals valued at $800, 000.00 from the Atlanta Jamaican Association (AJA) on Friday, July 6 in Manchester. Chairman of the SRHA, Wayne Chen (left) expressed gratitude for the donations which he noted will boost the services provided to the public. He added that the Health Authority welcomes the support from the Diaspora group and looks forward to strengthening its relations.

Every parent loves for the kids to get free backpacks, school supplies and other goodies for back-to-school. So why not immunizations?
