Anti-tobacco advocates in Broward County will ask local elected officials in the coming year to consider raising the legal age to buy tobacco products, to 21, as a way to prevent youths from starting the habit. The Tobacco-Free Partnership of Broward chose as its top priority for 2017 a project to ask elected commissioners from Broward County and its cities about raising the legal age for tobacco sales, which now is 18.

184-Room New Build Hotel to Feature Rooms for Longer Stays and Wellness Center. 

MIAMI, FL – On December 13th, Hilton and Baptist Health South Florida broke ground on Hilton Miami/Dadeland, a full service, 184-room hotel, on the Baptist Hospital campus.
