Job Seekers Invited to Career, Education and Networking Fair

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward Municipal Services District (BMSD) is teaming up with the County's Parks and Recreation and Human Resources Divisions and Commissioner Dale V.C. Holness, District 9, to host the Career, Education and Networking Fair on Saturday, June 17th at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center, 2650 Sistrunk Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, from 10AM to 2PM. This event brings together a coalition of approximately 20 employers,  public and private sectors and community-based organizations throughout Broward County around a shared commitment to investing in our community.

Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with potential employers and gain exposure to career and educational pathways in high-growth sectors such as healthcare, government, education, trade, and waste management. In addition, attendees will be connected to career development service providers such as CareerSource, OIC of South Florida and Atlantic Technical College and will learn about programs and services available to strengthen existing skills and develop new ones.  

The County is committed to ensuring every resident in the BMSD has the tools and opportunities to advance their education and career. Together, we build stronger and more sustainable communities. This event is free and open to any Broward County resident.
